Eh... I can be nuanced enough to both hate Penn State more than the Trump administration hates subpoenas while supporting the new staff.

Four setters? What does that depth chart look like? One senior setters in 2020 and a 2021 setter coming from the club Jen just left... hmmm

Sophomore "Big Mac" Podraza is the incumbent and the Franchise.
Mauer is a senior. Although she is a perennial second stringer, she has logged at least a million starts, filling in for an injured Hughes most of her freshman year, an injured Dailey most of her sophomore year, and an injured Big Mac for stretches of her junior year.
Roccafort didn't get much floor time as a freshman.
At Dayton Vondran was an afterthought as a freshman, and finished second in assists as a sophomore.
In last year's head to head match up, OSU beat Dayton in 4. Mauer led the way with 28 assists, Big Mac had 16, while neither Roccafort nor Vondran got in the game.
So if I had to guess the pecking order next year, it would be this. (Last year's stats included)
# Player - sp/a (k) 1 Big Mac Podraza - 85/537 (71) 2 Becca Mauer - 88/658 (22) 3 Josie Vondran - 66/308 (75) 4 Cecilia Roccafort - 3/3 (0)
I could see Vondran maybe unseating Mauer as the backup for the reasons that volleynerd mentioned, as well as her offensive prowess (most kills in fewest sets of the primary three setters). But I could also see Mauer nosing ahead of Big Mac, as she sorta did for stretches of 2019 (led the team in sets played and assists).

Flynn is going to do great things running the program. I'm stoked.

Any lineup predictions? should be interesting to see who steals the OH spots. Assuming Witte and Rader will hold down middle?

As insufferable as Carlston was, he sure did leave the program with an impressive roster in place for Flynn to take over. Very interested to see what the starting lineup ends up looking like.
