Maia D will not be competing this year. She suffered what sounds like a horrible injury to her knee.

LBSU cannot replace Tuaniga but if they can attract a good setter the program should be okay. The team will have two of the conferences best pin hitters next year in returner Kash Williams and incoming recruit Starr Williams. These two bring a lot of fire power and with solid setting they will be terminal. I also believe the team will be fine on the right and defensively. The middle will be a work in progress since they will both be returning freshman. The key will be replacing Tuaniga with a setter that can get the ball to the hitters with the right tempo and placement. Any video available for LBSU, 2021, incoming, setter, Katyrna Partyka? women.volleybox.net/katarzyna-partyka-p60857/clubs

Two of the best do not necessarily mean the two best. In any case, the LBSU duo will be very good if they receive good sets.

I could not find anything specific to her play, highlight reel, etc. There was one video that had her team playing and she was listed as the setter numbered 1. The setter had a 1 on the front but looked like a 7 on the back so not sure if that was her setting or not.

I like the WCC, Big West, AAC, Big East, etc. conferences snagging at least one at-large bid rather than having 28-ish bids from the P5 schools. But with Dvoracek out, I have serious reservations about Cal Poly. The Big West gets absolutely hampered in RPI as it is. I'm not seeing that improving in 2021.
