Added Harward. I'll add Abramovich when I get to Cal Poly. I've also added conference ranks for each team in terms of offense, passing and defense.

UC San Diego is joining the big west next year correct? Yeah, I will add them after Bakersfield. Since they're transitioning from DII to DI they will be under some technical restrictions, but I don't think they'll matter from a practical standpoint.

With UCSB having a stellar season you would think they could land a big time impact OH to replace Ruddins but instead they lost their rising star Libero. Hope they can maintain their strides to the top.

With UCSB having a stellar season you would think they could land a big time impact OH to replace Ruddins but instead they lost their rising star Libero. Hope they can maintain their strides to the top. You've identified the primary issue. The key to their performance this year was passing. Along with Fleck (who tied Mary Lake as the best passing libero in the nation) the Gauchos lose both of their other starting passers in Ruddins and Glasker. Of the 1950 passes UCSB made this year, those three handled 1750 of them! That will be the first challenge... Then you have to consider that they also lost two year starting setter, Sophomore Olivia Lovenberg to retirement and have no setter in the incoming class... They have two setters on the roster, one didn't see the floor at all this year, the other is 5'7 and would presumably be a liability in a 5-1. That is the second challenge. Then, finally, you get to the loss of the firepower of Ruddins. As great as the rest of the offense played this year, in the biggest moments (at Hawaii in the SSC, at Texas in Gregory), it was Ruddins that put the team on her back. Froley and Farmer have live arms, and they have more pins in the incoming class but the odds that any of them will be Lindsay Ruddins are slim to none. And again, that's only the third biggest challenge facing the coaching staff - because it was the only one for which they've actively been preparing! Tl;dr: they won't be a top 30 RPI team next year. It is disappointing and it will hurt the Hawaii & Cal Poly strength of schedule.

Updated a few more rosters. If anyone has incoming recruiting classes, feel free to DM me. I'll continue adding what I know.
Oh and congratulations to Maia Dvoracek, Savanha Costello and Zoe Fleck who, through their performances in the BW this year, all earned invites to the US Women's National Team Tryout later this month.

Well done on the presentation and write up BigWest2. Quite a project compiling all this data then dealing with formats, font size and colors. I think you nailed it. Nice work.

If the coaching thing doesn't work out BigWestFan2, you should go into journalism! Good write up so far!
(Also this thread needs a catchy subtitle)

Cal Poly will have 10 hitters on the roster and UC SB will have 14 next year. Is that a high number or normal?
