Busto interested in Poulter. Head coach Lavarini is expected to leave and take over Novara bringing current setter Alessia Orro with him. Lavarini is heading for Novara, but Orro is almost a done deal at Monza.

Any one heard the rumor that Carlini to Eczacibasi next season? If that was true, oh man, just look at the opposites Carlini played (will play) with: Haak, Egnou, Goncharova, Boskovic.... From the rumors I heard, it was either THY or Eczacibasi. Yeah, it's more likely to be THY.

I heard Plummer didn't want to talk about Italy. I watched her live last night, I got the same feeling. She did not talk much about her experience in Italy. One thing for certain is, she is no longer under contract with Monza, so it remains to be seen where she is playing next season. It's a little bit of bummer for me knowing she won't be playing at Monza next season. With Orro joining and Orthman very likely staying, all Monza need is a decent head coach who knows how to maximize the potential of the players.

We can throw Plummer on the ever growing list of Americans who disliked playing for that dunce.

But I know that if she has some decent talent to work with playing for T.H.Y. then she will have a chance at helping that team do better than it ever has.

Hentz, Fitzmorris, Gray and who else?! Gates maybe? It would be odd to choose to pay for Stanford grad school out of pocket only to end up playing pro volleyball.

You aren't going to see the Keefes going on and playing. How long is Gates degree? Maybe she wanted to go to Stanford to get better prepped for a pro career on top of grad aspirations??

Technically next year could also include McClure.

It has to be Gates, and looking online, a statistics grad degree only takes 4 quarters to finish. She can/would finish in August and then ship off to whatever country she lands a contract.

I didn’t hear the actual quote. Are we sure she wasn’t including herself in the four?

I’m sure it’s not that deep.

Is it a given that pro volleyball will happen in Italy next year with all the havoc that the current health crisis is wreaking? I admit to knowing nothing about the business model of the league, but the financial fallout from the country being locked down would have to have an impact on a niche sport like this?
