Rumor has it that christian penczar has committed to play for Santa Barbra community college. It is currently unconfirmed but I have heard from the players on his club team that he committed over a month ago

Jason Kozak of MVVC 17 Red is committed to Ohio State... is a 6’4-5 middle for MVVC and I wonder if he is going to as a middle, probably an oppo because he is a unit in that position as well. But his father seems really tall so he might grow

I got a full ride because I didn’t play a sport with 4.5 scholarships. Watch the big game on TV next Sunday and you’ll see me. Chad Out.

Ben Coordt committed to Santa Barbra the other day Woah, Rockstar and these Santa Barbara commits! Congrats to him, absolute stud on the court and will be a huge player for Santa Barbara in the coming years. Saw him at Best of the West and was still performing at an elite level.

Ben Coordt posted his commitment to UCSB on his instagram about a week ago but he took the post down shortly afterward. I doubt that he has decommitted, but it was just curious that he took it down so fast.

how do yall think all of this talk about cutting programs is going to affect some of these recruits If men's volleyball disappears then most of these recruits will probably stop playing volleyball. Maybe a few would go to the beach, but not many. Of course, many would end up playing club at whichever college they attend.

Maybe a few would go to the beach, but not many. Of course, many would end up playing club at whichever college they attend. I think there will be a bigger impact for women's VB. Bottom line is there is and will be for some time a shortage of money. Add up all the $ spent on women's VB and compare to men's, probably a huge difference. Also consider all the student athletes that pay their own way or much of it to play on a men's team. Not the case for the majority of women players. If schools drop programs I expect most men's players to play club and stay where they are at. I think a significant amount of women would drop out of school or look for transfers (in a tight transfer market) due to financial issues and of the ones that stay at their schools via a student loan or pay if they can afford it, I think less than half would bother with a club team. Just my opinion. Curious what other's think.
