Anyone on this site have any at home cures for vertigo. I’ve always had mild vertigo, dizzy here and there, but from this morning till Now, it’s been unbearable. To the point I can’t even sit up in my bed or even close my eyes. I’ve walked to go to the bathroom twice and have puked both times.
Any help would be appreciated lol

My "home cure" for something like that would be "call my doctor". (Not joking.)

Well, this will be a worthless post, but I was going to recommend Rear Window, appropriate for our situation, too.
Never mind.

Wow, that's f***ed up. Do you think that maybe you're just dehydrated? In the past, almost all of my problems have been from dehydration. I know, I know, you're thinking, do you not drink water, Wolfgang? Well, I don't get thirsty that often to the point where I go long stretches without water. But dehydration has caused, for me, headaches and dizziness. When I feel that way, I just drink a lot of water and voilà! my problems are solved.
If it's not dehydration, you need to see a doctor. Stat! Except nowadays, they're busy with the coronavirus patients so, perhaps you should just suck it up until the pandemic is over.
Update: Today, I went for a run. Came home, took a shower, had lunch (while watching John Oliver's Coronavirus III episode on youtube), and then started to play video games. Had a headache. I realized that after the run, I hadn't even taken a sip of water despite all the water (and salts) I lost from the run. Apparently, my brother who's a scientist of sorts told me lots and lots of people suffer from dehydration and they don't even know it. They think they're sick or suffer from some sort of condition when they're simply dehydrated. Just drink water. Also, when you wake up first thing in the morning, you are naturally dehydrated, which causes all sorts of disorienting feelings. Just get up and drink some water.

My "home cure" for something like that would be "call my doctor". (Not joking.) Call Kim Novak ... or get a prescription for one of these drugs: meclizine hydrochloride (Antivert) scopolamine transdermal patch (Transderm-Scop) promethazine hydrochloride (Phenergan) metoclopramide (Reglan) ondansetron (Zofran) diazepam (Valium) lorazepam (Ativan) clonazepam (Klonopin) BTW, you could have an inner ear infection.

My doctor is the main coronavirus tester for the entire island atm. He’s not testing in facility, but it’s near impossible to get an appt right now or even get in contact with them because of how busy his office is. If it doesn’t let up tomorrow I will try urgent care and go from there

I didn't mean to make light of your problem. I'm in an HMO, and if I have a similar situation they have a 24-hr consulting nurse line I can call. Do you have nothing like that?

They don’t have a 24 hour line. We have an urgent care that’s available most of the day that I can go too, the only Problem is getting up to even go there. I’m gonna do my best to go later on today, to get it solved because even though I’m working from home, this is so bad that it’s even hard for me to do that

I experienced vertigo twice. Both times it was debilitating. My doctor explained to me that one of the tiny bones in my inner ear fell out of place, they will do that, and there is nothing they can do about it. Fortunately they will pop back into place by themselves over time. In my case it was a couple of days. In the mean time the only thing they can do is to give me something to fight the nausea.
It is a miserable experience, I hope you get better sooner than later.

I have used the Teledoc service a few times. It works well when you can describe your symptoms accurately and it does not require hands on or blood work/scanning diagnostics. Last time I used it I had a sinus infection. My symptoms were "classic" and my Teledoc physician said that my description of the symptoms led him to believe it was and open and shut case. He put me on the standard 10 day antibiotics treatment and it cleared up nicely.

A little update.
I am better. Not perfect but better. I can walk to the bathroom without throwing up or falling down, but still very very dizzy.
Hoping this ends tomorrow

How did you solve your problem? Did you watch Vertigo? I did not lol. I did a few exercises which made it worst at first but then made it feel completely better. I’m not normal but it’s tolerable right now
