Looking for final scores of AVP matches from the years 1989-2001. Bvbinfo only has final finishes.

I have a bunch of old Volleyball Magazines and Volleyball Monthlys from the mid-1990s. I checked a few of them. They usually have a Scoreboard section at the back of each issue, although sometimes they just list finishes and prize money without scores. But here are some scores from 1996:
Milwaukee, July 19-21: Johnson-Loiola d. Tanner-Heidger, 15-11 Santa Cruz, August 1-3: Johnson-Loiola d. Tanner-Heidger, 15-0 Manhattan Beach, August 9-11: Kiraly-Steffes d. Johnson-Loiola, 15-10 Belmar, August 16-17: Kiraly-Steffes d. Ayakatubby-Lewis, 15-13, 7-2 (double final) Hermosa Beach, August 23-25: Kiraly-Steffes d. Dodd-Whitmarsh, 11-8 Chicago, August 29-September 1: Johnson-Loiola d. Dodd-Whitmarsh, 5-4 (double final)
Sometimes the accompanying stories fill in additional scores and details. For example, in Chicago, Whitmarsh sprained his ankle so they forfeited the first game of the final. I assume this is one of the years they had a clock, so that would explain the 11-8 and 5-4 scores. I'm not sure if the 15-0 score in Santa Cruz was a forfeit because the sidebar does mention the bagel.
If there's interest I can probably do more of these as time permits.

Any interest in scanning and uploading them? I have been hoping someone would do that for a long time, I lost my old stockpile when the house I was storing them in flooded. Poor Troy Tanner, nobody has ever taken as many lopsided finals losses without a win.

I can probably do that. Probably faster than transcribing them anyway. I would be incredibly grateful, especially for any from the 86-91 range but all of them definitely Most of what I have is from 1995-2001. Seems like I can't add attachments here. It gave the error message: "Error: This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit. Your file cannot be uploaded." It said there was a 1 MB limit per attachment, but rejected a file that was just 84 KB. No idea what's going on with that, so maybe I'll have to stick with transcriptions. Anyway, here are some results from Volleyball Magazine, 1993, Special Issue No. 4. The header says Old Spice Tournament of Champions, September 3-5, but after reading the results and checking bvbinfo.com, this is almost certainly a typo and the results are actually from Old Spice King of the Beach, September 23-25, 1993 Daytona Beach, Florida: Final Four Karch Kiraly-Jose Loiola d. Adam Johnson-Mike Dodd, 15-8; Kiraly-Johnson d. Loiola-Dodd, 15-12; Kiraly-Dodd d. Stoklos-Loiola, 15-9. Note: Stoklos replaced Johnson, who had to withdraw because of cramps and dehydration. Main Draw Pool A: Karch Kiraly, 2-1 (+13); Adam Johnson, 2-1 (+9); Mike Whitmarsh, 1-1 (-5); Bruk Vandeweghe, 0-3 (-25). Kiraly and Johnson advance to Final Four. Note Brent Frohoff replaced Whitmarsh, who was suffering from dehydration for one match. Pool B: Jose Loiola, 2-1 (+13); Mike Dodd, 2-1 (+7); Randy Stoklos, 2-1 (+1); Ricci Luyties, 0-3 (-21). Loiola and Dodd advance to Final Four on point differential. Qualifying Round Pool A: Bruk Vandeweghe, 2-1 (+12); Brent Frohoff, 2-1 (+8); Sinjin Smith, 2-1 (-6); Brian Lewis, 0-3 (-14). Vandeweghe advances to Main Draw on point differential. Pool B: Jose Loiola, 3-0 (+20); Scott Ayakatubby, 1-2 (-4); Eduardo Bacil, 1-2 (-6); Tim Hovland, 1-2 (-10). Loiola advances to Main Draw.

I would be incredibly grateful, especially for any from the 86-91 range but all of them definitely Final Four Karch Kiraly-Jose Loiola d. Adam Johnson-Mike Dodd, 15-8; Kiraly-Johnson d. Loiola-Dodd, 15-12; Kiraly-Dodd d. Stoklos-Loiola, 15-9. Note: Stoklos replaced Johnson, who had to withdraw because of cramps and dehydration.Johnson was FINE. He withdrew b/c it became statistically impossible for him to beat Karch. he basically gave a big middle finger to Loiola by refusing to play with him b/c he was there to win or else quit. The guy who was really hurting was Dodd, but he chose to play the final with Karch without any chance of winning the KOB. Randy was surprised. He was like "wait, I just talked to AJ, he's fine". Randy did his best playing with Loiola but at that point in time AJ was playing better than he was (can't remember if he was coming back from rehab at that time). *edit* Actually, found the youtube footage. Listen to AJ's interview. I think he must have lost some respect from the other players when they watched the replay of the interview. Then you look at the way he dropped Bruk with no warning whatsoever, and it paints a pretty clear picture of his character.

Then you look at the way he dropped Bruk with no warning whatsoever, and it paints a pretty clear picture of his character. AJ had a history of cramping and dehydration. Not Whitmarsh exactly but it happened often. Milwaukee 94, Mesa 95, a couple other times and the KOB used to be insanely hot. I was there the year AJ won and just sitting there was almost unbearable - and unlike you West Coast "its 85 OMG" types, I grew up playing in 100 degree heat and humidity on East Coast grass. AJ may not have been incapacitated but its was understandable not to want to go back out there after you were already eliminated Dodd on the other hand always looked like he was one play from being done. 9am Saturday mornings he looked like that and he looked the same Sunday afternoons when he was picking up his trophies

I discovered that for several years in the mid-1990s Volleyball Magazine published the entire season's worth of results on one page in their annual Year in Review issue. I scanned these in, converted them to text via a free online OCR site, then attempted to correct any obvious errors. Some of these are duplicates of what I already posted.
Here's AVP 1995:
