One thing to look at is the amount of Italian clubs in financial trouble due to this. You might see non-Italian players leaving. This happened somewhat back in 2013-2014. Italy Top League FINALLY packed it in last night after holding out for some kind of playoff in June. Players have been training together via the internet and group videos for a month . The players will not receive their last stipend I have heard rumors of. Not sure what to makenof that.

I can't wait to see Russell and Grozer play together. I think Sander and Jendryk going to poland is good too, Jendryk could use the higher competition. I wonder if Jaeschke and Huhmann have signed anywhere yet I was just going to ask about Jaeschke. I just hope he's 100% healthy. James Shaw?

I am not that familiar with the professional scene in the men’s side but based on what I’ve read, Italy and Russia are arguably the top 2 leagues to play in. The recent coronavirus will definitely leave a mark with the league. Are the leagues in Poland, France and Germany good? Russia was the best league fora number of years, owning the European competitions for almost a decade. Italy took back over the previous season, and was looking to be the best league again this year. Poland is right there with them, earning podium places but just not gold medals recently. In terms of physicality and growing from within, it is probably the best in Europe alongside Russia. Italy has more foreign talent in its league (due to looser quota rules compared to the other two leagues). I would say Germany, France, and Belgium are the next tier, but still good.

I checked the Champions League page and looks like Poland is up there with Italy and Russia.

As mentioned on another thread: Anderson - Likely not to stay at Modena. Shanghai and Kuzbass seem to be the front-runners.
Sander - Though he was said to have a deal with Skra, looks like Modena and Perugia are going after him. While Perugia just landed a foreign outisde, it looks like Modena might be the sole club in Italy who might sign him. Modena also linked to Kovacevic, Lavia, and others.
Averil - Looks like he is linked with AS Cannes in France.
Stahl - Reports have him going to Paris, but nothing is certain.

Any word if Jennings Franciskovic will be returning to Verona? He stated that he cannot yet talk about where he will be next year. That makes me think he will be somewhere else next year, but that is not necessarily the case.

Wherever he goes, I hope he’ll get more playing time, if he doesn’t get to start.

That makes me think he will be somewhere else next year, but that is not necessarily the case. I hope he goes to a place he plays consistently. There was an Lega 2 team with two smallish setters, they need someone like Jennings. Would be a step down, but if he plays 30 matches, he will easily get picked up the following season by a Lega 1 team.

Yeah, and that is not uncommon for players to change teams every year. Unfortunately he was at two clubs where he was slated to be the backup. Rado was his coach at both teams, and it is good to have the trust of such a successful guy. In my mind, I would rather see him go play top-flight ball in Germany, France, Belgium is he is not going to start in the SuperLega.

Pat Gasman? I pitched him to Berlin and they seem interested. That would be awesome and makes sense. With Jendryk leaving for a bigger club, it would be a good place for him to start and develope as a professional volleyball.
