He is not an American, but played NCAA. Stijn Van Tilburg is leaving Sora in Italy to play at Giesen. Not sure Wexter will stay. Why did I think I could beat you to the punch on this one

So he's going to play with Wieczorek.

So he's going to play with Wieczorek. I do not think Wexter or Wieczorek will be back at Giesen. According to their latest press release about SVT, the squad as of now is as follows: Setter: Jan Röling (GER) Opposite: Hauke Wagner (GER) Middle: Magloire Mayaula (CNG), David Seybering (GER) Outside attack: Timon Schippmann (GER), Anton Menner (AUT), Stijn van Tilburg (NED), Janis Hopt (GER) Libero: Milorad Kapur (SRB) Head coach: Itamar Stein (ISR)

Look for Kessel to have a great year in Berlin. He is aging like fine wine. Happy to see he is improving in his late 20s. Too bad he doesn't get more playing time with our National Team.

For some reason I thought this was already posted here.
Germany continues to be a great Yank landing spot.

how much are these guys making over there anyway? i can never find any salary info... Budgets in Germany range from 500,000 to 2 million. How that breaks down salary wise is tricky, as I'm expecting at least half the budget to go to operating expenses for staff, rentals, etc, but that may be off.

I was checking Berlin's roster and he's got some competition for playing time again. Samuele Tuia France Outside Hitter 195 1986 Cody Kessel USA Outside Hitter 197 1991 Timothée Carle France Outside Hitter 199 1995

Carle will be a good addition. Tuia is getting old and too in consistent. Kessel's physicality dominates that league. Hes just higher then most blockers he can score well in system and out of system.
