I have seen Bosković get more solo blocks than any other pin hitter in the game today. Egonu isn't as tall but she has a crazy leap on her so she too shuts down most players. Both have wicked top spin serves. Bosković being a lefty sometimes plays in her favor as most teams cannot dig her attacks. I really feel for her during the past 3 seasons at Eczacibasi. The setters they have had have been sub par. This year isn't likely to get much better. they are both listed as 6 foot 4 ? That might be a stretch for Egonu. Boskovic definitely looks taller from the eye test. She’s also just more experienced. I agree that she hasn’t had the luxury of having one of the best setters in the world in Wolosz that Egonu has during the club season. Watching Boskovic on the national team vs her club team is quite the difference because the Serbian national team setter is arguably the best in the world.

It looks to me like her heart isn't in it anymore. She is taking some time off this year. She plans to return in January after the seasons mid point.

Dijkema who was no where near as good as Ognjenovic. And just to add to that, Bosko had Mihajlovic on the left who was also better than any OH that the Netherlands had

I think Sloetjes's peak really was right around 2016. At her peak, I agree with others, I think she was the best in the world. That being said, her peak isn't close to where Boskovic or Egonu are right now, and I don't think they're at the top of their game yet. Which is scary.
It's sad because it just seems like her peak didn't last very long. I was going back to try and find when she started playing, or at least when she hit the big leagues. In 2013, she wasn't on Netherland's Euro Championships roster. She was on their 2013 Grand Prix roster and their 2014 World Championship roster. Looking at some Youtube clips from 2013 at the Grand Prix, it doesn't look like she was starting. Not sure if anyone else remembers more about her (or Netherlands) from this time, but my impression is that 2014 is when she started to really shine.

Yup. She wasn’t even starting in 2014 either. Then Guidetti brought her on at Vakifbank and she hit her stride from 2016-2018.
