Four Nilüfer players and an assistant coach test positive for COVID: http://instagram.com/p/CDBj8bxMr8z The remainder of the team is currently being tested, while the ones who had symptoms and tested positive are currently in quarantine. Will this affect the September start of the League (or at very least the development of the League protocol)?

Will this affect the September start of the League (or at very least the development of the League protocol)? This will definitely make things more difficult as the start of the league is getting closer. It'll make procedures more strict, but how strict is the league willing to get. It's not like the players and staff are isolated living in something similar to the NBA bubble, they still are making contact with others outside. If a player/staff on a team were to test positive would the league suspend just that team and the recent teams they played while resuming play or suspend the league entirely?

I am hearing reports that other teams have had players recently test positive as well. We'll see if there are any official reports on these cases as well.

I honestly feel like all players should avoid going anywhere but to the grocery store, practice, matches and home. I realize different countries have different regulations for dealing with the spread of the virus but at some point if the league and others around the world want to play they need to restrict athlete's movements in some fashion or I fear the whole thing is just going to get cancelled.

If you watch photos from training in many turkish clubs its obvious that a strict protocol is far away from implementation. On the other hand in Itay teams are following more strict approach. In general the upcoming season is hanging on various factors that could lead in a general shut down again. Federations must too avoid such a disaster and they are trying to implement health protocols that won't go so far that by definition will cancel the whole sport. It's a very risky season and time will tell. If things go to wrong direction we will face a financial disaster for clubs, players, people working in the sport.

What is the Italian League doing better (more strict) than the Turkish League with regards to safety protocol?
