This transfer just baffles me. Barring injury, she won’t get much playing time at Utah. Why? Inquiring minds want to know. Well, me, I want to know. She jumped around a bit in high school. Maybe that’s just her thing-looking for the strongest team. Maybe it's got nothing to do with volleyball. Maybe she wanted to have a beer...or sex.

I’m a busybody-I want to know why.

Maybe it's got nothing to do with volleyball. Maybe she wanted to have a beer...or sex. Huh-these reasons never crossed my mind. Another theory to put in the pot. But I really think it’s because she didn’t see (or Heather didn’t see) much playing time in her future at BYU. My crystal ball sees the same thing at Utah, however.

Anyone think Yett could sneak in as the libero? She impressed me with her passing and some of her digs were stellar. Was thinking the same thing. I think I read Weatherington was recruited as a middle? Maybe they will try her there, and that would open up an OH spot for Yett or Robinson. Yett was really good her freshman season at OH before her injury.

I'd need to look at the schedule before making any hard prediction about conference finish....but in general I'd say:
1: UCLA 2: Utah 3: Stanford 4: WSU 5: Washington 6: Cal 7: USC 8: Oregon ---Probably the tournament cutoff----- 9: Arizona (they would have higher had Smoot stayed) 10: Colorado 11: OSU 12: ASU

Interesting. Are you high on the Cougars or low on the Huskies? Surprised no one has mentioned Endsley yet.

I think Endsley will redshirt given how many pins UW has. Hoffman, Crenshaw, Cole, Bogo, and Drechsel.

WSU beat UW both times last season A lot of people, especially outside of PAC circles, don't seem to understand that Jen Greeny is doing good things over there in the Palouse.

I'm not saying I disagree. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing how Juliana Dalton fares this year. I was just curious about ay2013 reasoning. Regarding the UW pins, I like Hoffman's all around game but I'm not sure Endsley wouldn't improve that group.

They did pick up transfer setter Shannon Shields from Louisville and she’s a baller. I don’t know what their hitters look like this year tho...
