It's really a shame Creighton and Marquette have to be in the same division. I dont think there's anything out about a conference tournament It’s way better for both of them rather than playing another crappy team 4 times. I think its better for CU than MU. I think Creighton has the upper hand and will come away with 3 if not all 4 victories

I have a lot of respect for Marquette's program, but Creighton has just owned them. Huge respect for their program and their coach, the alum of Northeast Missouri/Truman/Stop and Shop, from which she, Jenna Fischer, and a bunch of doofs (la la la la la) graduated.

My oh my how far Seton Hall and Xavier have fallen from the first half of the last decade. Seton is a head scratcher for me as Yeager has been with program for like 15 years and at the helm for 9 or 10. She had a great 2014 season so you would think recruiting would have improved. At Xavier, Mike Johnsons last big recruiting class has been gone for a few seasons now and current staff hasn’t been able to keep up. Sad as they are in the middle of a hot bed of talent and play in a good conference.

I think it shows the impact that can have, even on an otherwise mediocre team. It’s why I doubt St. John’s this year. (Also, Allie Matters has done an UNBELIEVABLE job at turning around Wright State. It seems like losing her was a big blow for Seton Hall)

I think that's why Villanova may struggle replacing their setter in 2020. Any insight into who actually is going to run the show on the Main Line this year?

Who are your best bets for Player of the Year? I think it’s a race between Davis at Creighton and Alexakou of St. John’s. Davidson at Butler could be a dark horse but tough for a middle to win. I don’t think Marquette will have one star like Barber in the past but will be talented all around.

Yes - but there is the on paper possibilities vs what Josh thinks based on what he knows? Looking for an insider's view and maybe you have that but maybe it's a mystery still!

Looking for an insider's view and maybe you have that but maybe it's a mystery still! I don’t have any inside info, but my guess (and it’s only a guess) is that Morgan will be given the first opportunity. I’d consider the possibility that Nova might decide to break tradition and run a 6-2 in order to get both Johnson and Barnes on the court at RS and take some pressure off the inexperienced setting, but I’m not coaching.
