I don't know a thing about Anna D'Cruz. Any idea if she or Dillon will be the other MB after Omazic? Losing Caffey hurts.

No clue about D'Cruz. Closest video I have of recent game footage is this highlight reel from when UAB played Samford -- which was made by Samford, so it's even more limited as far as what UAB/D'Cruz played like. I mentioned Dillon to take Caffey's place because of how 2019 ended for the Tigers. Also if Deberg or Lek pull a 20-20 at any point in their senior campaign... not opposed at all Kan is another player I liked watching, although there seem to be fewer of her games online from her indoor days.

Thanks for posting this. It's good to remember just how good that '16 Missouri serve receive really was. With only two primary passers, Kan and Ethridge each passing ~800 balls, they BOTH had good pass percentages of ~69%. That would be incredible in a 3 person formation... But passing 2? Crazy. Mary Lake got to the USA gym because of her ball control and she passed 63.5% in her senior season (that was one of the best marks for a libero in the country this year). Kendall White passed in a 2 in 2019 and that pulled her GP% down from 61% in 2018 to a 58%... Passing 2 and both of them approaching a 70% good pass percentage on the season?? That's ridiculous. Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane. Looking forward to seeing the 2020 Tigers.

Like how could they both possibly pass so well in a 2 person?

USA is more interested in how well a player receives and not in how well a player receives against average college level serving.

I mean 70 percent in a power 5 conference in a 2 person serve receive. I don’t really think it was all just average serving. That’s a crazy stat

What do you guys think is going to happen in 2021 for Mizzou? They lose a lot - DeBerg, Hollingsworth-Santana, LMM, and Omazic. I see Dixon and Sauer slotting in at OH and D’Cruz at MB (or Dillion). But what about oppo?

Yeah, Cox and Iliff are both in that class. They’ll obviously have a good shot at early playing time.

Idk if it will work in the SEC

Saw Mizzou has three players in PrepVB's (ok a little janky) Top (Current) 150, which interestingly enough, rates based on where players are today as opposed to college potential (the Senior Aces list, which I never see anyway unless a player bio mentions a placement). Before the post gets nuked or w/e, looks like the Tigers have:
37) Jordan Iliff 45) Kaylee Cox 116) Allison Lyon
@madden54 probably knows more about Iliff and Lyon, who are both home grown talent. Would they be the Taylors' recruits or the Kreklows'? Not much recent video on Iliff. I thought she had pace on quite a few swings, not much backrow play shown. Long wingspan gives her a high contact point, but the swing itself isn't consistently "whippy" while reaching for that height. Not much video on Cox either so I can't figure much out. Haven't heard about Lyon but will be nice for more setter depth when Fuentes graduates (she should get a year under her as well which can only help, right?)
