Bowden and Brown will be called upon. For as large as the roster is, DS numbers are surprisingly small. They’ve got 5 players listed as a DS on the roster of 19. That’s not too small I thought they had just 4. Usually DS’ are plentiful on large rosters.

Really good write up redcard, your hard work is appreciated! Personally I see Texas likely having Fields stay on the right side again this upcoming season and having Phillips and O'Neal competing for the last MB slot after Butler. With Logan and one of Davis/Williams/Parra(if possible) on the left. Setter still remaining open as does the rumor filled backrow. Also sidenote I believe graduating player Hill from Kansas was a middle not an outside, not a big deal though.

It’d be interesting the see the scores for the projected lineups rather than the full roster.

Holy cow, Texas has so much talent left on its bench. An entire team that could compete with everyone after Baylor and down. It’s insane the talent we rack up and can’t use.

Interesting. Note: Molly Hunt is not going to WVU. I believe she is now committed to Indiana Wesleyan.

To have a front row with Fields, Butler, Phillips blocking........ I don't want to jinx it but this year feels different. It feels like JE is finally putting some pieces together for these next few years to be different. Especially after how last season ended, I'm hoping these next few years we see a different kind of Texas team hit the floor.

Something that makes me feel great about this team is how good they are for being so young, but also how they’ve interacted really positively together on their social media and Instagram lives. Feels like a team that’s going to want to play and win for each other. That’s just the vibe I get.

Fields/Butler/Phillips will be so fun to watch against Pressley/McGhee/VDM. I really don’t see any other teams touching Texas or Baylor. Maybe just maybe Iowa State can be competitive but that’s about it.

I just took a quick look at the stats from last year's matches and I didn't see her on the leaderboard. I guess we can save the stats for Baylor's match at Texas as that might be an outlier because those stats aren't good for the Bears. Definitely a different story in Waco but even then, the Horns outblocked Baylor 15-10.

I wouldn’t say Pressley is the most dominant blocker but definitely has above average skills. Outsiders naturally don’t get the same blocking opportunities that MBs and OPPs do. Before McGhee arrived, who led the team in blocking, Coach McGuyre said Pressley was the best blocker on the team. She roofed Rettke which isn’t an easy task so there’s that. Now Baylor as a team has a good block, just slightly behind Texas.
