A not-too-confident Yes. But, no idea when or where.

I think the season get started and then get shut down either completely or regionally. Either way no NCAA Championship.

Based on the fact that a spectator-less vball tourney will be a huge money loser, I think they won't hesitate to cancel the tourney if there is any major outbreak. But I'm still cautiously optimistic that they were will be *something*, even if it's drastically simple such as Top 4 teams only. It's very American to want a Championship (if there is a season) and I think they will do anything they can to have some sort of finale.

The NCAA was willing to halt the men's basketball season and thus without an NCAA championship despite it being a huge $$$-maker. And they halted all spring sports. They'll stop the women's vb championship because, you know, it's only volleyball.

If more minor conferences drop this season, does the NCAA keep the championship with more than 50% of its automatic bids not playing?
Will there be a season if more conferences shutdown fall sports?

If they do it could be hosted by every home team, be limited to 32 teams, and the final four are held say, in a small gym in Omaha.
Or Lexington.
That being said, I am still confident there will be no sports. They might not wise up to that beforehand, but the outbreaks will make it impossible to continue. Just like inperson college.
We've made no right moves in response to this virus.

Last team to cancel their season wins the NC.

Last team to cancel their season wins the NC. Maybe UCF volleyball will be able to hang a national championship banner next to the football one.

Maybe this has been discussed, but if season is cancelled, does everyone get another year of eligibility?

Maybe this has been discussed, but if season is cancelled, does everyone get another year of eligibility? Current NCAA rules give athletes 5 years to participate in 4 seasons of competition. So the answer for the vast majority of athletes is 'yes' and it wouldn't require any NCAA exceptions. Where I would expect to see the NCAA step in is where athletes have already used a redshirt or a medical hardship. I'd think the NCAA would allow them an extra year to play 4 seasons (so now 6 years). If they didn't do that, they'd really only be punishing athletes who missed a previous season for a reason outside of their control. What I don't know is if the NCAA will allow teams to go over scholarship limits like they did for spring sports?

I think the NCAA would be foolish to allow another year of eligibility. So what happens if we have to cancel this fall and then come spring we still can not get in a season? I know it is not fair but I just do not see how you can continue to do that if this extends for any length of time beyond what we have already seen.

What I don't know is if the NCAA will allow teams to go over scholarship limits like they did for spring sports? Think that would be a hard bell to un-ring. Why? Let's say 2020-21 season doesn't happen. The 2021-22 season happens and schools get one season where players who were supposed to be using their 4th season (seniors) don't count against scholarship numbers. Then 2022-23 goes back to normal.
