Money. Daisy, 1531 Paris, France. Totally hot. I don’t care how much money you have, you still have to sleep with them.

John Derek (and Bo Derek) lived and died in Santa Maria, CA, which is the next “big city” south of San Luis Obispo. I drove through (and also stopped in) that city many many times. Mostly to put gas or grab a bite to eat on my way down to San Diego or Los Angeles. I always thought it was a dump. Didn’t even realize John Derek lived there until I read his obit when he died. Just a short hop, skip, and jump away is Neverland, Michael Jackson’s estate.

This thread has title 9 training / education requirements all over it. Haven’t we all learned by now we can’t discuss topics like this. It’s not 1977. 😜

What was the time period where the average bloke fancied a gal that was "pleasantly plump" with a unibrow? Or did my fifth grade teacher make that up?
Come to think of it, she was a little heavy set... And she also had weird eyebrows...

John Derek was collecting trophies his entire life — Linda Evans, Ursula Andress, Bo Derek. John Derek was a good-looking guy pretty much his entire life. Just sayin'. And I'm not even gay.

I didn't know Title IX applied to internet message boards. And not even a very popular one, either.

Man, this thread somehow triggered long buried memories from my youth. I have a confession to make. I had a massive childhood crush on Jennifer Connelly. She is gorgeous in such a stunning way. And intelligent too. She went to Yale and Stanford after all. And not to mention also highly talented as an actress, she did win an Oscar for best supporting actress. Beauty, brains and talent, I can't help but admire that:

You couldn't take your eyes off of her: But when I was a kid, it was her performance in Labyrinth that really struck me. The fantasy movie had this enchanting quality to it that sticks in my mind: And of course, her Oscar winning performance in A Beautiful Mind:
