There are now 8 conferences in DII that have all postponed until Spring semester including two of the major volleyball conferences and a good PSAC. How many will it take before the NCAA moves the championship to the spring?
CCAA (Defending National Champs Here) SIAC CIAA ECC CACC SSC (Powerhouses Tampa, PBA, Barry, etc) NE10 PSAC (Home of Gannon)
Are there others preparing to do the same? I saw that the MIAA announced a delay to the start.

Sorry, I missed another powerhouse. The GNAC has also suspended their seasons. GNAC is the home of powerhouse volleyball programs Alaska Anchorage, Western Washington, etc.

Rumor had it in D3 that when 50% punted on the fall, it would change. Not sure how the NCAA could run them all in the spring and at the D3 level NCAA reps are in charge of 3-4 sports each. I honestly hope we get to play for a conference title in the spring and not worried about the NCAA but would be nice.

The PacWest makes 10 of the 23 conferences that have moved. Two more and DII will be over 50%.

The GLVC is now conference number 11 to go to spring. One more domino to fall and it will be over 50%. They have to start looking at moving the championship.

I have heard already two of the teams are out if rest of league decides they do want to play.

Not sure it was announced yet but rumor had it that the GLIAC and GMAC were moving with the GLVC as a region. So that would put them over half plus the news with RMAC moving just continues to force the hands of other conferences as well as the NCAA.

This obviously could (will) change but for now GLIAC will play in fall.

Why would anyone think we would have sports next spring? Given that we have zero tolerance for COVID, sports are done. Assuming we have a vaccine, and assuming a very optimistic 70 percent efficacy, we still have COVID. And we can't have COVID. Until our mindset about COVID changes, we won't be having any sports whatsoever. Next spring, fall, 2022,23,24,25, and so on.

That would require people to think, analyze, not accept Twitter as fact, etc. Unlikely to happen. Strange that people keep wanting to push sports to spring when very little will likely have changed by then if we keep the same mindset. I would think they'd want to cancel for the entire school year.
