These points don’t count. So, it’s going to be messy next year. I’ve already heard some cup teams talking to glazebrook about wild cards next year bc they earned it these 3 weeks. You’re going to have players that didn’t make the cup seeded higher than players in the cup based on partners and points from 2 years prior. Crazy Wasn't the teams selected for this based on the current point standings going into this year? So outside of a couple bubble teams/players everything else should remain intact for the most part. Yes, but you’ve been around long enough to know some of these players aren’t going to work while others bust ass and then the players busting ass end of in a Q bc 2 guys sitting on their asses partner from points 2 years ago. I’m just saying, it’s going to happen - a few teams will end up getting shafted. I mean, you’ve got half the teams not playing with “normal” partners and half claiming with their permanent partners. I just think the system is messy. On the men’s side and women’s you have great performances these first two weeks by people with few points and you’re going to shove them back in a Q next year? Look at the B’s. 12 team draw they are out. They shouldn’t be out. Same on the women’s side. Youll have 3 teams that havent won a set in the cup higher than Jones and Callahan. And 4 that haven’t won a match. I think there will be 4 wildcards used when next season starts to try and rectify.

What they really need? Another series in /SeptOctober now they proved this a success. IMO Not that there's any "alternative response" to this, but: GREAT IDEA....Let GO!

Would like to see Donald make it up with a couple wild cards into the first two events next year. I think they get into the big ones anyway but for the small fields, its unfair to keep them out

Prize money alone wasn’t enough incentive? Fair enough, but once the rules were set it seems kind of silly to whine about it.

How is Piotr going to play with that mangled finger? Bet they arrive then forfeit so Piotr can get his winnings.

Im not sure exactly how points should have been awarded, but at least letting teams move ahead of other teams that did play in the standings. So Callahan/Jones couldnt gain ground against teams that didnt get in, but if they passed teams that are already in the MD then that should count somehow. Not really a huge issue and only looks to affect one team anyway
