Wasn't Jim Moore of Oregon fired after being accused of roughly the same thing?
Something in the waters.

Who are the two assistants that recently left and where are they now? Blaise Grant/Jessica Quinn; no clue where they are now. Coaching staff's way reduced.

As in all of these cases, there are players who come out in support of the coach. Oregon State Volleyball is retweeting those comments. Not sure if I would do that. If there has actually been an investigation and actions taken against the coach (as the University admits), it seems like it's not the best idea for an official account to be suggesting in a backhanded way that the accounts are not really true.

Yeah, I just went and looked too. Not there. They have a couple of high recruits coming in - wonder what happens now. Hopefully this is resolved quickly. Does remind me of the Jim Moore days at Oregon - although he was much more obvious on the sideline than Barnard is.

These are examples of what we should all already know. People are multidimensional. We're both good sometimes and bad at other times. We're vicious at times and kind-hearted at other times. We volunteer to do the most mind-numbing mundane chores some days, and other days, I can't get my arse off the couch and my wife yells at me. Some days, I am very nice on VT and other days, I stick forks and knives on a variety of VT voodoo dolls I've made of each and every one of you.

Looks like a couple of players have posted in support of Barnard. Like someone said before, these situations typically see some supporters make statements. The statements are quite compelling. We will see how this plays out...

I'm sorry, but I am absolutely HEATED after reading this article. No one every deserves to be treated in this manner. Those who make the decision to play at the next level have put the time and the work to be the best they can possibly be. Obviously, everyone can improve and get better once they get to college, but that process should never entail bringing girls to tears during practice and making someone feel like they want to OD and commit suicide. That is absolutely unacceptable behavior by the coaching staff. And Tayla Moore's response? Her last sentence just totally rubbed me the wrong way. It just sounds like "MY experience was great. It's your fault that yours wasn't." Yes, college athletics is absolutely not for everyone. HOWEVER, just because you had a great experience, doesn't diminish the fact that someone else may have had a bad experience. I mean, COME ON. A player said that they wanted to hang themselves in the locker room. How can you read that and respond with a statement unabashedly supporting your coach and say that someone is just "looking for a storyline" ? Unbelievable. I know every story has more than one side, but I don't know how the other side could ever spin their story in a way to put them in a better light. I don't know why people would ever lie about overdosing or wanting to hang themselves in the locker room. I'm just in absolute shock. I really hope the players affected are getting the help that they need. They deserve better.

Yep, the coaching staff is down four members; team has a dozen players: 2019 had 17.
