So, maybe the shine is off the McK penney...another loss. They can't even get out of the quali, or even make dents against good quali teams, much less any MD teams. I think this abbreviated season is going to force them to choose what they want, potential success apart or a mediocre brand together. I don't see their brand growing, I mean they are a solid brand, don't get me wrong, but if they can't get their bearded mugs live on Amazon on a consistent basis, people are gonna lose interest in their edited content. Having said that, if they can't get outta the quali, they are gonna be lacking in content anyway. Anyway, good luck to the teams today! Shine has been long gone, we don't even need to look at this season to see what Q teams they have lost to when they have been losing to bad Q teams for the last two years. I know I have been super critical of how they handle their YouTube channel, but its the same thing I was critical of Sandcast for. If you want to grow your brand and make yourself relevant in the content game then it needs to be an EVERY DAY mindest, or as close as you can get to it in the literal sense. Q recaps, Instagram/Facebook/YouTube live stream interviews with the Q winners or big performers of the day that aren't the mainstream palyers, man on the street videos of events with random fans, etc. It has to start somewhere, considering these facebook/twitch streams are getting 3-500 concurrent viewers why not have other content there to fill the gaps of when no AVP is happening or in between matches. Sandcast, in between the 2nd and final AVP of the year, posts a podcast where the guests are grass/indoor players? ? Missed opportunity there

Missed opportunity there I mean it is relevant, they did win a massive tourney in a season that has not seen many. But even so how would you even find out if you only subscribed to the IG page? There is absolutely no mention of the new podcast and their last post was on June 10th.......It is July 31st. However it is funny to see the May 27th post talking about how amazing the McK are at what they do considering how bad Sandcast is at their social media game and how little outside of post videos on the channel the McK do.

Dear Amazon Prime,
Please borrow Troy's camera equipment or any other player's phone tomorrow that is live streaming today. Your Ct. 2 video quality last week was soooo poor between the shadows and being way overexposed. Simply, use someone's phone as it is better than whatever pricey equipment that was being used last week.
Signed, Someone trying to watch VB on Amazon Prime ;-)

Does Instagram only support a portrait mode feed? SO, if I have it correct, you use about 36% of your screen for the "feed", LITERALLY half the feed itself to comments, which makes the broadcast 18% of your monitor capability? Beuller . . . beuller....

Im looking forward to listening to it and I like the attention given to the best amateur events, but how do you not have AVP content the week after an event and the week before the last

Hate that I'm carrying water for IG/FB by saying this: IG Live was never intended for streaming something like that it was designed for someone sticking their phone in their face a talking/looking at the comments so the bottom half of the screen being obsucred by comments as a feature, not a a bug. You can't even disable comments on IG like you can on Facebook Live. And Twitch's comments are a separate window that you can hide whenever you want.

Interesting....I get it now...Facebook feeds compete with Amazon Prime quality, Instgram, competes with Kodak circa 1983....IMHO
