Warren doesn't bring anything to the table at this point, plus she's also in her 70s. She certainly doesn't deliver any voters to a Biden coalition who weren't already in it. Oh, I'd disagree. I think she would bring a lot of progressive voters to the polls who might otherwise sit it out. Whether it would affect electoral votes or not is the question -- i.e., make a difference in any swing states.

They're mainstream Democrats.

I just wish Warren would be given the opportunity to debate Trump. She would destroy him.

I got a super special opportunity to meet Senator Warren on Capitol Hill in 2017 (how it happened is a long story).
She’s exactly as she appears in public. Incredible person, super engaging, inspirational as heck.

Many Sanders voters sitting this one out *detest* Warren. They are lost causes. Many Sanders voters love her. Heck, many Warren voters obviously loved her more than Bernie. I think you are underestimating the enthusiasm she could generate. But again, I'm not sure about swing states. Could just be that she'd increase the margins in states Biden would win anyhow.

I am most impressed with Elizabeth Warren's stance on environmental issues.
I mean...check this video out. She has a zero-carbon footprint, 100% renewable energy, private jet at her disposal when traveling. How impressive is that?

Enthusiasm isn't super relevant as far as primary choice goes. Sanders voters are voting D almost as much as Buttigieg voters and significantly more than Klobuchar voters. If you really want to get enthusiasm up, nominate someone who will get black and latino voters excited (i.e. not Warren). The segment of PoC who don't vote at all is a lot larger than the segment of sanders people not voting for Biden.

Sanders voters who would vote for Warren are probably already voting for Biden. I don't think there's a VP pick which would pull in the ones who don't plan to vote November. I like Liz Warren, but there are fundamental differences between her and Sanders. Dealbreakers, in my opinion. If she was really behind Sanders' platform, she should have dropped out and endorsed him when it was clear that nobody wanted to vote for her.

Having two septuagenarians at the top of the ticket isn’t the best idea, IMO, although I don’t think it’s enough of an issue to entirely disqualify Warren. Still, I would be surprised if she got the nod.
