It will be announced later this week, conference officials met in Chicago all weekend, football/fall sports being pulled from BigTen. I hear ACC and PAC to follow. NCAA and even Power5 conferences don't have the budgets (maybe a few) to have a "bubble" to keep athletes COVID safe, testing daily/weekly, trained staff and with the potential of liability lawsuits. Football is king, $$$ is king, they lead the way unfortunately. With 5 million cases in the USA, doubling in the last about 40 days, I think that was the final nail in the coffin. I want our country back! Hate to post this tonight, not the inside news I wanted to hear. Our way of life has forever changed, and amateur sports will take some time to figure out. Take care everyone. My husband is a pediatrician, U.S. cases in children from early July to now, have risen 40% -- Awful! Children ARE NOT IMMUNE. I'm really concern for youth sports in the near future (my daughters are devastated) Wear Your

They most likely will go to spring and delay the start of fall seasons in 2021 to better help athletes "recover" from the spring if that option holds true. I heard some officials are not wanting to go to spring because it would cause a lot of work getting tv schedule, fields, arenas and much more worked out. So I guess we will see by this week if they decide to cancel or move to spring. I personally am rooting for spring because I don't know how many athletes are going to be able to wait an entire year to play the sport they love again.

Maybe we start an old-school Atari, Nintendo or PS2 competitions online.... afterwards we can come on here to complain about our controllers were not working properly. BTW, I cannot sleep -- I am really upset about no NCAA VB.... just VB altogether.

I guess adios NCAA volleyball this year and just wait until next year.

Will athletes lose a year of eligibility? Or will they be able to be redshirted?
