For the record, I’m in favor of a holiday round robin tournament of Wisconsin Nebraska Minnesota and Penn State. You could bubble them up at IMG in Bradenton FL after the WNBA is done down there. Each team could play the other best 3 of 5 for axes or old buckets or a barrel of Stone Crab claws........ old school college way👍

I stand with my post from last night, my sources are rock solid. I SAID, WHAT I SAID. It's over, NO FB in BigTen. Little hope with too many intangibles, with faux vaccine timelines, likely November election chaos, influenza starting in Oct, this is all a recipe for disaster. This will cancel the 2021 Spring. Don't kill the messenger. The most important date is January 20, 2021, this day will determine if we rise and unite and restore order, or the depressive madness continues and our country is forever changed. Now the talk is of the B1G delaying football / fall sports. Does that mean a delayed fall start or a push to the spring?

Following all of this on twitter has been dizzying. I am going to deal with that by drinking heavily. I'm guessing you can't go to a bar today without bumping into a B1G coach. Let us know what you find out. I have discovered that drinking beer through a mask is disgusting. It also makes a huge mess as the beer just spreads throughout the mask until it is all soaked through. Then, if you sit there long enough, you get a bit of a stale beer smell and taste on the mask, which makes it even worse. Worst of all, it is an unforgivable waste of good beer. Unless you order a Bud Light, then by all means...waste it.

Stay thirsty, my friends.

Help an unfortunate company in their time of need by helping reduce their stock of crap beer.

4-5) I'm wondering if they dump the early signing period. The members don't want to commit money when they have none coming in, and they don't want to tell verbally committed recruits "no" until they are sure, so the NCAA postpones or eliminates the early signing period and everybody signs in February (when football traditionally signs) or in the April signing period. The NCAA has been looking for ways to slow down the recruiting timetable and I bet that would do it, at least for a year or two. The NCAA will not get a temporary injunction in the Alston case, and the Supreme Court wouldn't be able to hear the case until after October, meaning a fall signing period would allow colleges to offer recruits more than educational expenses. Now I am almost sure the NCAA will put off the signing period as long as possible to try to give time for an appeal, and to prevent colleges from having to commit scholarships to athletes without knowing if there is a spring season for fall sports.
