For the Wahine, this is normal travel, just like going for a BWC match on the mainland. Practice Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then leave for the mainland, on Wednesday evening. The travel distant should not impact the Wahine at all. But thinking it will effect both Miss State and Brown. I do not believe either of those teams have traveled that distance to play a match, this season. Brown traveled to USC last week, but didn't play very well against USC WOW…the committee did them a real disservice. To fly them cross country back and forth twice in 3 weeks is not good. Whomever thought it was a good idea should have his/her committee position taken away. GO BROWN! Beat them DAWGS! ;-)

Brown sent themselves (I’m sure usc begged lol). But has nothing to do with the committee

I have 0 doubt BVS will win POY.
FOY likely goes to UCSB
I think Lang, BVS, our two middles make first team
wagoner HM.
Ikenaga and Lang all freshman team
Robyn COY?

Lang was crucial for winning the big-west title outright. I can't see it not named other than her tbh.
COY is more of a debate since Welch was 2-0 vs RAM. So I could see it going to her but wouldn't be surprised if RAM won it.
POY is easy. BVS no doubt as she willed her team to the conf championship and is the BEST player in the conf.

Any thoughts on Bakersfield possibly getting COY? Took a D2 team to D1 and number 4 in conference in first year. Aside from that though I do think Robin likely gets it.

Robyn got co-coach of the year with the Fullerton coach in 2019. Many felt it was a popularity vote for Preston despite the Fullerton team having a losing record of 4-12. Could this happen again?

That would have been my vote for that exact reason as much as i love Ah Mow as a coach, that’s no easy feat to go up a division and be successful early.

Bakersfield transition to D1 years ago and was playing in the WAC. UC San Diego moved to D1 this year and started out great in conference but fell off in the second half.
