In 2021, the Wahine will have 11 players on scholarship, 8 returning players and 3 true Freshmen. The 8 returning players on scholarship: Amber Igiede (Middle) - Sophomore Riley Wagoner (Outside Hitter) - Sophomore Kaylee Glagau (Outside Hitter) - Freshman Kate Lang (Setter) - Freshman Tiffany Westerberg (Middle) - Sophomore Braelyn Akana (Outside Hitter) - Sophomore Mylana Byrd (Setter) - Junior Anna Kiraly (Middle) - Freshman 3 Incoming Freshman, who are taking Brooke Van Sickle, Skylar Williams, and Jolie Rasmussen's scholarships Annika de Goede (Opposite) Mia Johnson (Outside Hitter) Martyna Leoniak (Outside Hitter) If my math is correct, Robyn will have only 1 scholarship available for 2022, if Mylana Byrd decides to stay for the 2022 season. She will be classified as a Junior in 2021. That 1 available scholarship is already awarded to Matias (Setter). So unless some scholarship players leave, Robyn as of now has NO Scholarships available for Devin Kahahawai, or even Maui Robins. Good point but there's money available when it was publicly stated by the SAS man himself that RAM is actively recruiting her.

The other possibility that Robyn can gain another scholarship is if, Kaylee Glagau decides to just play Sand Volleyball.

Probably she's only junior on the team. I could also see Wagner going beach only, but who knows that's way too far ahead to think about our scholarship situations come 2022.

I see her only as a backup Outside Hitter, on the Indoor team.

I think she's more likely to get playing time at Washington and Hawaii. Texas, Nebraska, and USC seem like they'll be stacked with OH talent. Surprised that Berkeley, Stanford, and UCLA were not on her list as she is supposedly more academically inclined.

Since we will not have seen this Wahine team in over a year and a half, real curious to see how certain players have improved. Players like Tiffany Westerberg, Riley Wagoner, and Braelyn Akana. Have they used this time to become stronger, improved their volleyball athleticism, etc. Can any of these players crack the starting lineup. Will one of these players be the surprise player on the 2021 team. This will go a long way in how well the Wahine will do in 2021, if one of these plays is the surprise player of 2021.

Money wise, it can be difficult for an Indoor player to move 100% to the beach since the beach has only 6 scholarships to split among the players.

I forgot to say, that there are a few current Rainbow Wahine in the picture and in the video clips. I really do hope that Jolie comes back for her last season with Hawaii.

Not surprised to see BVS in the pic. She is just a complete 'gym rat'. If there was a volleyball match to be played on the moon, she would find a way to participate in that match. She just loves playing volleyball.
