Hawaii will have the same problem at some point with it's super seniors, the same as other schools'. I think Amber at least stays to get her degree. After that who knows? She's still undersized for a top tier P5 school, and I'd argue that Hawaii's resources for volleyball are similar to a middling/low end P5 school.

I wonder if Hawaii’s Igiede would transfer? It would be cool to see her at a powerhouse program in a Power 5 conference with some training. If Coach Lundquist comes back, Amber will have all the training she needs, especially since she plays at the #1 pair on the beach team. It's true that since she's not in a P5 conference, she doesn't face a high quality MB every week. On the other hand, Hawaii runs a middle-first offense and other teams often gameplan to specifically stop her, so that might make up for the lack of opposing talent. True but imagine seeing her at a Texas?! I feel like she would do great. |
