So if UH wants to get up to 75% capacity they need everyone admitted to show proof. If UH doesn’t want to go that route and prefer not to force fans to show proof of vax, then UH will have to either work with 50% or less or no fans at all. It's not a big deal to require proof of vaccination. It is super easy to counterfeit a photo or card for people who really don't want to get vaxxed. The state has already filed charges against people caught using fake vaccine cards. It’s really not worth it. Unfortunately, I think in-person fans won’t be allowed anytime soon.

How is the testing situation going these days in Hawaii? It would probably be good business for a rapid testing company to make themselves available nearby so fans that do not wish to be vaccinated can at least show proof of negativity. I don’t know but some employers are not paying for their employees’ weekly tests since vaccines are free. Probably cast about $150 for a test. It would be out of pocket expense.

"High-risk businesses, including restaurants, bars, gyms and churches, must be capped at 50% capacity. Schools will not be impacted." At worst, it seems like SSC will be held at 50% capacity unless there is some sort of exception or cases worsen

At worst, it seems like SSC will be held at 50% capacity unless there is some sort of exception or cases worsen From the knowledge of a government worker, something like the SSC, is considered a government facility, therefore the Governor will have the authority to implement any mitigating procedures deemed necessary to protect public safety. Something like social distancing, proof of vaccinations, mask use, and capacity limits can be done. Instead of banning fans into the facility.

So at 50% capacity, the SSC for Wahine Volleyball matches would max out at 5,200 attendance, not to bad. Anyone know what the average attendance was for the Wahine matches in 2019?

Anyone know what the average attendance was for the Wahine matches in 2019? fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/w_volleyball_RB/2020/Attend.pdfAccording to the 2019 NCAA Attendance Report, Hawaiʻi averaged 6,684 for the season, with a total of 18 matches with 120,318 total attendance. I would assume that the season ticket holders get first dibs. That would be roughly 3,000 seats for 2019.

IMO: If you're not vaccinated, why would you go out and infect others if you don't know your status. If I am vaccinated, which I am. I would still wear mask so I don't catch the virus and mistakenly pass it on to others. Don't worry about others and worry about you.....Everything will fall into place.

Has anyone seen Demirtas on the UH campus? Cannot miss her, she has to be one of the tallest females on the University of Hawaii campus.
