Yavapai College (NJCAA DI) will have an opening for a full time assistant coach next week. The job posting from HR should be available on Monday. This is a 12 month full time position with benefits and coaching only (no other campus duties required). Yavapai finished the 2021 spring season as 1 of the 16 teams competing at the NJCAA DI National Championship Tournament. If interested or have questions please email: zachary.shaver@yc.edu

She certainly didn't outperform her predecessor, who was let go after 2 seasons. It would be an awesome job once you got it humming, but they are so far gone at this point. They can barely even hang with Wilmington. Total rebuild.

She certainly didn't outperform her predecessor, who was let go after 2 seasons. It would be an awesome job once you got it humming, but they are so far gone at this point. They can barely even hang with Wilmington. Total rebuild. You could turn this program around with one recruiting class and finish in the top 4 in the conference. A couple of above average outsides, a setter and libero and you can compete.

There are 430 teams in D3 so "above average" would put you around 200. The OAC had 4 regionally ranked teams in 2019, and 3 teams were ranked and one was receiving votes in the last AVCA poll this spring. Top 4 in the OAC is basically a top 30 team in the country. Are there 4 players that put a team in the top half of that league? Sure, but they are "above average" by quite a bit of distance.

They aren't even allowed to recruit Sure, but they still need to know the rules. They interact with recruits while on campus. They might coach club.

They have a Newish climate controlled gym, they have the snazziest color combo around, and they have a Catholic affiliation in a city and state that has a lot of strong Catholic HS VB programs.
