Agree that Istanbul is an amazing city. 95% situated in Asia and 5% in Europe. We have been with our kids multiple times. Just wonderful city! I have lived in many cities in Europe. Dresden must be fun as well to live. Most cities would be great experience. Depending what the player makes it out to be.

In Istanbul? We have always stayed within walking distance of major attractions. The downtown / old town is very easy to walk around. We love hiring a private local guide for a day. The river cruise was amazing, Grand Bazaar etc. I grew up in Prague. So if anybody needs, can fill you up in details on that city.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Most cities are very unique with their culture. I would recommend if you go travel to Europe to focus on one country or region. Because each country offers so much. Rome is completely different than Rimini, Venice or Naples or Sicily. I love Greece / Santorini. I love South of France. Paris is nice but the French country side is amazing, the vineyards etc. South of France is so different with all the scenic views. We took the kids last year to Scandinavia and Russia. I could live there too😂 Spain you could spent few weeks just there because northern and southern is very different. I lived in south of Spain.

What did you think of Russia. I feel like some Americans have a weird stigma about going there. Always wanted to travel

Istanbul is an amazing city. I know several pro players who played all over the world including Italy who said Istanbul was by far their favorite city.
