After last weeks and tonight’s matches any predictions for tomorrow’s rankings? Mine are 1. Grandview 2. Park 3. Campbellsville 4. Vanguard 5. Ben Mesa 6. Indiana Tech 7. Lourdes 8. Saint Xavier 9. Mo Bap 10. Mo Valley Comments: Grandview still clear number 1. Didn’t really know where to put Ben Mesa since they still haven’t played. Feel like both Lourdes and Mo Bap should move down considerably. Mo Bap more since their loss is worse. IIT and SXU both moving up

I believe they vote earlier in the week so tonight’s action likely won’t be a part of it.

1 1 Grand View (Iowa) [14] 6-0 254 2 2 Park (Mo.) 5-0 242 3 4 Campbellsville (Ky.) 7-2 222 4 5 Lourdes (Ohio) 4-0 216 5 7 Vanguard (Calif.) 2-0 201 6 3 Missouri Baptist 7-2 198 7 8 Jamestown (N.D.) 2-1 176 8 6 Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.) 0-0 172 9 9 Saint Xavier (Ill.) 7-0 159 10 10 Indiana Tech 6-1 150 11 11 Ottawa (Ariz.) (AZ) 4-3 137 12 14 Missouri Valley 6-1 120 13 12 Life (Ga.) 3-0 107 14 13 Goshen (Ind.) 3-3 100 15 NR Ottawa (Kan.) 4-1 87
Grand View is the clear number one this season, and Park is right there. Interesting that Missouri Valley didn’t jump higher.
We will finally get to see Benedictine this week, as they play three times this weekend against Saint Katherine on Friday, and Vanguard on Saturday/Sunday, which should be some really fun matches.

Park is far from “right there”. Got rolled by MoBap tonight. I think Vanguard is right there.

Agreed! Honestly it’s so hard to tell when teams play inferior competition. The couple games I saw they looked strong, but tonight..well they definitely aren’t right there. I’ll eat my words on that one!

Missouri Valley and Park tonight. Two teams that could be really good or could just be above average. Who ya got?

Valley takes it in 5! Anyone watch this game and have a quick recap? I saw Mo Valley play in person early in the year and was not ridiculously impressed. Clearly my initial take was proven wrong after this last week

Clearly my initial take was proven wrong after this last week I was able to watch the first three sets, and both teams looked pretty decent. Park are so big and long, but they seem to just cruise, and never put it into another gear. Mo Val played hard, and have some nice talent in nearly every spot. Couldn’t say what happened in set 4 and 5, but Mo Val definitely look pretty solid.

Couldn’t say what happened in set 4 and 5, but Mo Val definitely look pretty solid. Watched 👀 last half of set 4 and all of set 5. Very even last set tied at 12-12 after Park ace when Mo Valley got a big break on a tight pass, which setter touched trying to save it as well as Park MH. R1 called an illegal block so point for the Vikings, but sure looked like ball was in the plane and should have been back row attack on setter. Set point at 14-12 was a roll shot that dropped on Park side when two players looked at each other. Credit to Mo Valley for the W but that last set ending could have gone the other way. 😳

Another top 10 matchup happening at 11:00am (PST), #5 Vanguard vs #8 Benedictine. Benedictine cruised last night against Saint Katherine, and this should be a really good matchup. Vanguard Video Feed

#8 Benedictine defeats #5 Vanguard 3-1. They play again tomorrow at 11:00am (PST). This was really competitive match, and two very evenly matched teams. Benedictine hit .737 in the first set (!).
Fuller (BenU): 16K Anema (VU): 16K Roussin (VU): 16K
Really looking forward to another round tomorrow.

I know the USK picked up I think a 6'7-9 OH/OPP and I was wondering if any of yall know if he's good or not. I've seen him put up a massive block and hit some pretty good balls, but I don't really know much about him.
