That gives a little bit of background. Amado is a super legit Middle, and I've seen Santiago from Puerto Rico. That's an extra extra large man with a big arm. He hits a really hard ball. I had also always wondered what happened to Chavers after he graduated. Now I know. Thanks for filling us in.

Some names are certainly bigger than others on the list, but I love following where our US talent is and sharing their journey as much as possible!

Live at 5pm PST again and tonight we are checking out the Dallas Tornadoes vs Southern Exposure. While both teams boast great players, the highlight is definitely Felix Chapman and Kyle Dagostino. Both have spent time wearing Team USA colors and are always exciting to watch on the court. Players of their caliber are not only fun to watch but great to see them investing in growing USA volleyball with the NVA.

VLA came out with their schedule already. Is there an NVA schedule? Or do we need to wait till the new year? Please tell me you guys will be traveling around the country like the VLA. Last year you guys had one in New Jersey and the rest were in the middle of nowhere Southern California dessert. The NJ one seemed to be the most lively and fan friendly. Hopefully you follow that model more.

Everything will still be in SoCal for now, the goal is of course to be more mobile throughout the country, but to provide a consistent broadcast experience and keeping costs as low as possible for now, keeping it at one location is optimal. Covid also makes going to varying locations a bit more of a headache for now when trying to track what states will or wont allow for events. Our season will be running in the same timeframe of April to August to keep our international talent available for as much of the season as possible, so the schedule will release with ample time before the season as well as our Quest for the Cup content to review whats new and how the season will run.

Why do everything out in California where they have some of the most strict restrictions and it is insanely expensive and inconvenient to get to? Why not pick a more central hub in the midwestern states that allow for cheaper flights, easier travel by car if its the preferred method, and more lenient covid rules in regards to allowing fans to attend?

Why not pick a more central hub in the midwestern states that allow for cheaper flights, easier travel by car if its the preferred method, and more lenient covid rules in regards to allowing fans to attend? A ton of great questions that I will try to give a lot of specifics and general background on. Additionally I will always answer any of this live on the stream if you want to hear it all a bit more free form. We are quite open about our process and goals for making the league a mainstay. With 3 teams from the league in Southern CA and one team in Vegas it is much cheaper for the league that 30-40% of players aren't traveling. Regulations thus far have not proven to be an issue for any event we have run in CA either and we work hard on the back end to ensure things will stay that way. Also not sure if you live in CA or your experience but Southern California regulations for the most part are really not strict, at least in San Diego, OC and the IE. LA is a lot more strict for sure. Having the gym driving distance from the staff also allows us to be there when needed to be hands on for any changes we make to the league or production to get a better idea how it will look. As far as fans go, the gym is open to spectators currently with an airport 30 minutes away as well as affordable locations to stay should someone want to travel (but I do understand, like you said it is still expensive). Additionally while it is of course the goal to continue packing stands and getting live audiences, keeping events in SoCal allows us to keep our entire production team and camera gear locally sourced. Running an 8 man production team that is unrelated to the actual event staff as well as moving our entire booth is a big ask for us right now. Additionally, since the league office is in SoCal we have access to other resources for media production with the teams based on established relationships that would not be available to us elsewhere. That means players leave the venue to have promotions and other media shot for the league since they are all in one place. I absolutely love being able to travel our production and move from city to city (Like we have done for Atlantic City, Kentucky, Indiana, Long Beach, Las Vegas, Arizona and many other locations) and that is a goal to continue in the future. For now with the resources we have, Southern California keeps our costs as low as possible while keeping the product as consistent as possible. There is a ton more to it than that but those are just a few key things that play into the decision making, I hope this helps a bit (if not keep asking haha).
