Enormous boost for the team next year. Need to tune up L and RS2 a little, as well as have a good replacement for Levers, but next year could be another good run. I suspected this after not having a senior night in the spring, glad to have it confirmed. I think Levers is coming back as well, plus the addition of LMM, and 4 freshmen - Setter, MB, Libero and RS. Pitt will be loaded and competition in the gym will be fierce. Can't wait! |

Do they move LMM or Vazquez to the right? Can't imagine you sit Vazquez.. I always thought her passing was solid (and im not sure LMM's is but idk)

Not alot of respect of Illinois State. Great coaching staff. Would love to see them continue to do great things in the MVC.

I just think Jankiewicz could play for a lot of the P5 teams and this could be her opportunity to do so. |

Final Four would have helped more, but even Elite 8 beating Minnesota still brings Pitt back to the spotlight as a top team for potential transfers. They need an upgrade at L and could be very very good. Akeo could always go back to 5-1. I think Pitt has enough offensive potential. Akeo will get absolutely abused at the net in a 5-1. Happened in 2019, no reason it wouldn't happen again. Better chance is to hope this new freshman setter is good enough to stick in the 6-2. I trust Browske to step up at libero. She already made big strides from 2019 to this fall to this spring. My real concern is RS2 in a 6-2. Lockwood was OK but nothing special. Hopefully we have some good competition for the starting spot to raise the level of play there. Fisher will again be looking for a libero in the portal. |
