The ceremony was top notch! A celebration of women's athletics... I hope that was something we can share with other volleyball fans!

People probably already know this but captains were chosen after the scrimmage. "The team captains for the first week of official matches will be Aury Cruz (Gold), Ali Bastianelli (Orange), Tiffany Clark (Blue), and Lianna Sybeldon (Purple)." Looks like Im team orange. Fortunately I already have a lot of shirts that color already you know, Ill say this, I was really on the fence about this league because of the format but Im really enjoying it so far. It helps my favorite athlete ever is a star but I think regardless I could get into it.

On first glance, I thought OH's/Setters were going to be heavily favored for the points.... guess not? That's good to see

I think DLC/Larson are obvious 1/2s but after that... it depends on which setter you feel good with, who you want passing, etc. I think Clark has a big advantage, not having to pick a libero.

Larson is the overall better player but I’d want DLC for this league first.

I think it depends, and thats where Clark has an advantage. She doesn't have to know when is too early to pick one... all of the other captains will know which is the best passer/defender so that'll be who they want. Strategy is getting them at just the right time.. Clark doesnt have to worry about that for such an important position.

I could see Cruz choosing a setter. I think Clark would be the most likely to choose DLC.

I know she isn’t great compared to other elite international players but I would have think her passing can’t be that far behind the other athletes and so since she’s a better attacker than Larson and her passing is still good I would take her
