What's the benefit of playing a D-2 school? Wayne State (Nebraska) Extra matches/time on court. Wayne State is a decent D2 school. Iowa State is playing them as well. The Big 12 has the short end of the stick with the spring season with most of the teams in their local regions all being committed to conference play those last few weeks of the season.

Texas A&M vs Tennessee has been postponed.
John Cook doesnt think Nebraska-Northwestern will be made up unless there is an opening in both team's schedules.

I know the Big Ten schedule didn’t really allow for them because everybody plays 2 matches every weekend, but do we know for sure Big Ten schools (or Pac-12 for that matter) aren’t allowed to schedule non-conf matches if they end up with an open week?

Pretty sure they are not allowed to. One of the main reasons they didn't allow non-conference matches to be scheduled in the first place was that there are different testing standards between conferences. Having an open week doesn't change the discrepancy between conferences in testing.

Having an open week doesn't change the discrepancy between conferences in testing. Yeah that’s what they said in the fall then basketball played non-conference games. All it takes is for the Big Ten school to say “you’re required to do X, Y, and Z” for us to play this match. And it’s usually not a big deal.
