Hallelujah. That was so annoying. I eventually found that it was easiest to jump back like 15 minutes and then go back to the time stamp I wanted. I used to be able to do that too, but recently, the only thing that worked for me was restarting the match. It was getting worse and worse. I stopped trying and just watched the youtube videos for the last few matches, which I'd rather not, if I can watch it on BYUtv.org. EDIT: Hm... maybe I spoke too soon. I just tried watching it on my laptop, and it worked to go back at first, but now it doesn't. Same old, same old. Fast forward is still working though. That's better than nothing.
Works perfectly on my TV.

Darnell Dickson wrote an article about recent 2023 BYU commit Silina Damuni for the Provo Herald about a week ago.

The class of โ23 class looks like it could potentially be one of BYUโs strongest ever. Claire Little, Silina Damuni, Mia Lee for sure committed. Based on some research and word of mouth, BYU is also pursuing melie vaioleti, a fantastic libero from Hawaii. She is also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which obviously gives BYU a bit of an edge as far as recruiting goes (generally speaking of course) ! Clara stowell (ellyseโs sister) could also potentially land here. She is a top 50 recruit. It will be interesting to see if BYU targets any other liberoโs to improve passing. Other POTENTIAL โ23 recruits (merely based on Instagram research) are Sara Gooch, Jordyn Harvey, Olivia Ruy.

So, getting back to 2021, does BYU lose another set before the tournament if they stay healthy, which I of course hope they do? If we take hubris from fans out of the equation, what do you all think? They have been really impressive. I ranked them ahead of Nebraska this week, realizing full well how good Nebraska is with Stivrins back (great job, Badgers!). I am fine with the Badger win over BYU in the spring, and I don't want them in whatever regional the Badgers are in!

I think San Diego is going to give them a much stronger fight at home, so I wouldnโt be shocked if they take a set against BYU. With that said, I donโt see BYU losing another match in the regular season if they stay healthy.

I would also add, I think losing a few sets for BYU could actually be a good thing for them. Everyone knows they havenโt played the toughest schedule, and IMO one of the greatest preparations for the tournament is having experience coming from behind and winning after dropping sets. So even if it isnโt against the nations best teams, losing a set here and there will at least give BYU more experience learning how to adjust mid-match and come through with a win. That is why Iโm not terribly upset that Weber State took them to 5 sets early on. I think in the long run it will be good for them.

That was a real test, and I'm sure they learned a lot from it. I wouldn't want to be undefeated going into the tournament anyway. It's so much pressure to try to go all the way without ever losing a match in the season.

Here's Mia Lee jumping 10'7". It looks like she actually did this when she was a freshman in 2019. To put this in perspective, I recently saw an Instagram Q&A with RJP, and she said that her max in college was 10'8".

Yeah, I saw that last night and was thinking that this must be where that Big 12 money is going. They made a video too.
