Can't wait to end this club season and to see the team complete and 1000% hunger for that VNL/Olympic. I think we all are beyond excited for this summer! 😱😱😱
What are the dates of the VNL? When can we expect a roster announcement?

I believe the tournament starts on the 25th of May. I expect to get a roster announcement in true USAV fashion when the team is boarding the plane for Italy. SMH.... 🤦♂️

IDK about turkish dual citizenship, maybe they do but IMO the primary reason why Vargas left is not because how good her new citizenship is but about how bad her old one was.

or to keep the players on their toes. coaches probably made up their minds a long long time ago.  |

Vargas will not be eligible to play until 2023. She played with the Cuban seniors in 2014. She will be an upgrade to Ebrar and should replace Boz who’s older

God I hope Lowe becomes decent over the course of the summer. She will need to step up since JT obviously is having issues playing.

JT was having playing issues on the left. She won't be playing that position with the NT. The only variable to consider is if her shoulder is healed or not. Motta could be keeping her on the bench because she was out for quite a while while the rest of the team gelled together. We don't know if the reason she is on the bench in Turkey is solely due to her injury. Does anyone have evidence to the contrary?

Mara? Amanda? Tainara? Drussyla? I wonder why they didn't make the cut? Based on what I heard Mara had a bad season and fell behind others fighting in that position. Drussyla was in bad shape before Covid and when she got it she didn't recover into suitable form. Amanda though older and experienced I think Ze was thinking of using her spot to add someone younger that could bring something different to the team (I like to think of her as the Kingdon of the Brazilian NT and that her spot was eventually going to be lost). Those three I could understand as to why they didn't make it, but I'm surprised Tainara isn't there. She's still young and has room to gain experience. Another name that could've joined is libero Suelen who had some bright moments representing their NT. I'm not familiar with the other libero Nyeme. None of them (Mara, Amanda, Tainara, and Drussyla) had a good season at their clubs with ups and lots of downs. If there was no limit on the number of players, I could see some of them make an appearance at VNL. Better luck next season. Nyeme does not have a lot of experience (only two years as a pro), but shows lots of potential. She is the future libero for the Brazilian NT. And to think she gave up playing volleyball after her tenure with the youth NT. |

I see Karch taking Lowe over Plummer but I wouldn’t be mad if he did otherwise.
