Truth. Plummer definitely is on the outside looking in. However, other than Drews, none of the other Opp's are a lock IMO.

Based on what I heard Mara had a bad season and fell behind others fighting in that position. Drussyla was in bad shape before Covid and when she got it she didn't recover into suitable form. Amanda though older and experienced I think Ze was thinking of using her spot to add someone younger that could bring something different to the team (I like to think of her as the Kingdon of the Brazilian NT and that her spot was eventually going to be lost). Those three I could understand as to why they didn't make it, but I'm surprised Tainara isn't there. She's still young and has room to gain experience. Another name that could've joined is libero Suelen who had some bright moments representing their NT. I'm not familiar with the other libero Nyeme. None of them (Mara, Amanda, Tainara, and Drussyla) had a good season at their clubs with ups and lots of downs. If there was no limit on the number of players, I could see some of them make an appearance at VNL. Better luck next season. Nyeme does not have a lot of experience (only two years as a pro), but shows lots of potential. She is the future libero for the Brazilian NT. And to think she gave up playing volleyball after her tenure with the youth NT. I see the potential! Looks like Brazil won't have libero problems in the next cycle.

Or will Brait play most of the matches?

I think I'm literally about to do a rewatch of the entire 2019 season. Definitely the USA matches but also some other competitive ones. For those who watched various non-USA matches, which matches should I check out?
Also, confession time. How many of you have watched certain matches multiple times or have you only watched most matches once?
Now is the time to do a rewatch since volleyballTV is free.

CHN-ITA in week 3 of VNL.
CHN-BRA, BRA-KOR, RUS-BRA in world cup. CHN-RUS is better than what the 3-0 score would indicate. CHN-KOR had a pretty close first set but after that it was boring. Not sure about other matches, it wasn't a very competitive world cup.
SRB-POL, RUS-KOR in IOQT. Maybe BRA-DOM but I haven't watched that so IDK.
European continental OQT SFs (TUR-POL, NED-GER).
SRB-TUR Euro Finals. SRB-ITA if you want to watch Egonu go 18 kills and 16 errors on 48 swings.
That's all the interesting matches that I can think of off the top of my head.

@toddyj I watch the interesting matches multiple times. Watching Serbia beat Thailand at IOQT or watching China beat Japan at world cup 3-0 isn't that interesting even if you were rooting for the winning teams to begin with.
also: do you know when volleyballTV is free until??

Are the American ones on there (im too lazy to check and NBC had the American tv rights) Yeah, but why would you want to watch it on FIVB's website when all 36 matches are uploaded on bilibili (uploaded on Jan 30 2021, so I didn't know about it before).
Here are the USA ones:
Another reason to stay away from FIVB's website

Honestly, I'd prefer JT (if she's healthy) or Plummer over Lowe. Maybe even SWP. Would be better to invest in one of the younger players IMO

I wonder if we will need a VPN for Volleyball TV after April 30th here in the USA once it’s no longer free?

Also for some reason, Hande does much better offensively with the national team. Maybe it’s because of the tempo Naz sets her? (I can’t remember if it’s different or not). And she does it against bigger blocks as the OH1 rather than the OH2. OH1 usually lines up against the setter more than the opp if everyone's starting in Ro1.
