I think China will have their starters in the bubble but maybe not playing every match. Assuming ding xia can ever get out of quarantine.... 😂 What happened to Ding Xia? Nothing bad, she's just stuck in her hometown due to the rising Covid cases in that area. She wasn't able to travel and join the NT when they began training earlier this month.

But the province she is in (Henan) has a spate of Covid cases so the province is under lockdown. That means Ding can't join the rest of the team for training at the moment.

Japan's said they don't want it.
Depending on the restrictions.... I could see it taking place here. We've seen the US Open happen (thats the biggest international event I could think of)
But I would think Europe would be more likely. Turkey or Italy would be a good spot. (would prefer Italy's time zones lol)

I often struggle to avoid looking at the result. When USA played China during the 2019 VNL in the 4th round of the preliminaries, I was watching the live score tic while at work and was fuming the whole time. My coworkers were like, what's gotten into you? I was like "I just need to be elsewhere right now, no offense" lol. I flew home and watched the replay. Still, it's more exciting watching it live. I was up and jumping around watching the 2019 VNL final. When the USA went 0-2 down, I was standing up and pacing around like a stan chastising every bad set or blocked attack. I can't wait until we can travel again where I can catch some matches live in person.

It's not as exciting for me when I already know the result. Exercise self-restraint and watch the recording first. But even then, you can often tell by the timestamp how long a match is going to be which often spoils the outcome. It's so hard to watch on replay without knowing anything about the match.
