I am forwarding my PM response when this was first mentioned to me: "This is strange! I had read "ORLANDO - The UCF volleyball team's matches against the University of Miami, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26 and Sunday, Feb. 28, have been canceled. Prior to the cancellation, the Knights were set to do battle with the Hurricanes at The Venue before heading down to Coral Gables for match two. "It's unfortunate that our matches against Miami were canceled, but we are now working diligently to find a replacement match or two during that same weekend," said UCF head coach Todd Dagenais." I understood they were then going to play FSU, but now I cannot find my source. (These days, teams and SIDs are scrambling to change schedules willy-nilly without putting out a news release or are taking an earlier release off-line with no explanation.) FSU now shows it is playing Troy and Louisiana that weekend, although the latter two schools do not show the matches on their schedules nor in press releases, lol. Assuming FSU and UCF do not play, the match will not count. As for now I don't want to post anything about it just in case it does get played. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
