I liked what I saw from Fitzpatrick, Bilinovic, and Kudryashova
Oerther with 36 assists, 2 aces, 8 digs, and 4 kills
Fitzpatrick with 13 kills hitting .308
Kudryashova with 11 kills hitting .381
Parker with 10 kills hitting .273
The middles had 14 kills hitting .243
The trio of outsides hit .313

I know Penn State was missing Blossom, but what a contrast between the two Big Ten matches. Minnesota at Purdue was first rate TV volleyball.

I know Penn State was missing Blossom, but what a contrast between the two Big Ten matches. Minnesota at Purdue was first rate TV volleyball. They were missing their staring libero also but the freshman filled in that spot nicely tonight. |

I know Penn State was missing Blossom, but what a contrast between the two Big Ten matches. Minnesota at Purdue was first rate TV volleyball. They were missing their staring libero also but the freshman filled in that spot nicely tonight. When healthy having Jenna and Maddy in the rotation will make a difference - as will getting Gabby healthy! |

When healthy having Jenna and Maddy in the rotation will make a difference - as will getting Gabby healthy! Was hoping the armor game wasn’t a anomaly for ACF and it looks like it wasn’t. I’m excited to see what she does this year. It nice to see they have someone other then Hampton that can be called on as libero if needed. Personally who knows how Hampton will hold with the starting job. She’s never had that load. White had the majority of load and for good reason. So we will see how things go at that position but it felt good to see the freshman step up the way she did tonight. I know it’s only one game but it’s all I have to go on right now |

I won't speak for Illinois, but at this time it's clear that PSU is not on par with either of those teams However, I liked what I saw from the young and new players There is a lot of volleyball to be played between now and April 13 Looking forward to seeing the improvements this PSU team makes over that time Also, the best teams will be the ones that can adapt to what this odd season throws at them |

Given that, it was a REALLY impressive performance. |
