Chinn gets the “start” tonight as the other outside, right? Looks like whatever the issue with her shoulder was is not stopping her from hitting now. She leads the other two sophomore outsides in all statistical categories except total kills/points (she did not play against Minnesota). Not having production from a second outside against Minnesota likely cost us that game.

It's been a mere 433 days since Kentucky hammered Michigan in the second round of the 2019 playoffs. That team graduated 7 seniors and it will be a very new look for Blue this spring. I don't give them much hope today against such a high quality opponent playing in their 7th match, but I am excited to see the new pieces. What I'll be paying attention to:
- Johnson's connection with her hitters
- Grant's ability to keep plays alive
- Mruzik against a B1G block
- Where Pertofsky ends up playing
- Any improvement in the blocking game
- Whether Kendall Murray sees the floor
I'm not at all concerned about Jones, she is going to get hers as long as the team gets the ball to her. I suspect the timing on offense is going to be shaky this first trip out. Anyways, Go Blue!

I'm surprised Michigan isn't taking the side with the overhang as their "home" side; that's always good for a few saves each season.
