One thing I'm really liking is that teams are not locked into geographically constrained groups. It's fun watching teams from all over the country play each other.

People who want to avoid "spoilers" should just keep the F off volleytalk, IMO. Especially when matches are played on back-to-back days. i kinda thought the same, but didnt know if it would be rude to say  I agree with you both. I just always throughly enjoy the back and forth from the can’t watch until whenever crowd and the stay off VT until you can crowd. It’s my volleyball Christmas |

All these “dangerous” mid majors are just getting their butts handed to them lmao. 5-set loss isn't exactly "getting their butts handed to them lmao". To teams that would play seeds in the first round in a normal year. I just think mid majors will really struggle this year due to lack of ever being tested. I personally think having 64 teams was more necessary than ever this year to get a decent level of competition. |

It was good to see some of these teams have a chance to take a set or two or even the match, like Morehead State. In a normal year they get sent off to the seeded teams gyms as fodder. |
