Where does CAL POLY have the strongest player need for 2022?
Four players will be lost to graduation,...OH (2) & DS (2).
The team struggled in 2021 due to injuries to key players (3).
Bring on the "transfer portal"...

Bring on the "transfer portal"... CAL POLY had five true freshmen in 2021 that didn't play a single set. Will they return as a sophomore, a redshirt freshman or not at all?

Who has access to the transfer portal. I would like to know who is coming back.

IMO- CP and UCSB will be the two strongest teams to beat. With M.D coming back from injury last season, Tommi S. coming back, M.P and setter A.D. this will be a very strong team.

I believe UCSB will be the team to beat going in. The program returns practically every key player and looks to be adding a good portal middle and a good high school outside that played in yesterday's Under Armor match. If MD comes back at a high level then Cal Poly will be a contender for sure. Right now Hawaii has too many holes to be the front runner. The team to watch will be LBSU with the new coach and the quality additions he has and will make to the roster.

I think UCSB definitely needs a good middle. Ennis will be missed.

I’m optimistic for both UCSB and Cal Poly next season. Lots of returning talent on both teams.
