Last Friday LBSU played Cal Poly but I have not heard anything about the match. Anyone have any info on how it went? Yes, they played at Cal Poly and LBSU won in five. From what I’ve heard, both teams played ok. Obviously both teams are missing players, but I’m sure they’re just happy to have had a chance to play!

As we speak,...CAL POLY's staff amounts to the following: 1) a head coach 2) an assistant coach 3) a volunteer assistant coach 4) a technical coordinator
Is there more help on the way???

Will the players from the Big West Conference and the Ivy League get another season since their conferences did not compete in 2020-2021 due to Covid??? No as that was not an NCAA mandate. 2020-21 does not count as a year used for anyone, regardless of whether or not the team played a season.

Probably won't be listed that way on rosters, and schools aren't obligated to fund the fifth year of scholarships.

Where are you getting your info and is it reliable?

Despite the total "radio silence" of the CAL POLY staff I am optimistic a transfer MB will be announced in the months ahead.
Of course hiring another assistant coach came as a surprise, too!

Yes... they have hired a second assistant with some championship experience. Is that playing or coaching championship experience? Well... both really. But he's coming from a program that is trending up in the last 4-5 years. Top 15 program in recent years. He wasn't an assistant coach there but does have assistant coach experience just with small division 1 school.

Hey jake, 1. If UCI was able to stream the UC Davis at UCI Spring match then why couldn't Cal Poly stream the Long Beach State at Cal Poly match? Why can't they at least post a boxscore on the website? 2. If Cal Poly was looking to hire an assistant why didn't they act sooner and grab Adlee Van Winden? Instead she ends up working for the rival gauchos. Now Adlee will be telling all the recruits to come and play for UCSB over Cal Poly. That doesn't sound right. Adlee should be telling recruits to only play for Cal Poly and telling stories of the Cal Poly glory days when she played there with her sister and also when her mom played there.
