UCF has established a really solid pipeline recruiting to the Midwest and upper plains. They've got an Omaha player committed for 2022. Some players just want a change of scenery.

And, yes, her mom was my science teacher.

I was reminded earlier this season that Tali Marmen transferred to UCF. Saw her name on a box score and said, "oh yeah, I remember her."

I did the same thing with Arizona's Merle Weidt. Rutgers matches used to always be so short that you just vaguely remember everyone.
