BYU is appearing in their 33rd tournament and are 171-123 (.582) in sets played. The Cougars have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen 11 times, the Elite Eight 8 times, the Final Four twice (losing 3-1 to Penn St in 1993 and 3-0 to Stanford in 2018) and were Tournament Runner-up in 2014 where they were swept by Penn State.

Yeah, I would count it as three Final Fours, since making the title game by definition means making the Final Four. They did mention all three of them, but I think it's confusing to do it that way. They also said BYU has made the Sweet 16 11 times, when it's really 22 (they lost in that round 11 times). |
