As a badger fan, I'm just happy they are playing another really gitty team. This will be competitive. As a BYU fan, it likely won’t be. But I’m sure we will still enjoy it. Our passing is suspect and we don’t have a consistent pin weapon, but good enough to get by. |

I like BYU but I don’t think BYU has the passing to keep up with Wisconsin’s serving. They shanked like crazy. And Wisconsin actually has a setter that can set 🤷🏼♀️ But who knows, never thought they would take a set off Texas in 2016 either I think they could take a set. But winning. The entire match. No. |

This match will be on Saturday at 8pm ET. I think the one-day-early regional semifinal will benefit the Badgers (if they should beat BYU). They would get a day in-between to rest and watch the OSU-Florida match. |

BYU doesn't have a single dominant pin hitter, but they have a lot of good options in Ballard-Nixon, Grimmer and Livingston. All three are capable of taking over a match on a given night, and Eschenberg and Dodson are both dangerous in the middle. It also helps that Bower is so good at running the offense. Don't get me wrong. I definitely think Wisconsin will win this match, but BYU's offense is much better than it was in 2019. |
