Holy crap Herbots's arm is going to fall off. Both teams have new young (?) opposites that I have never seen before. Guillams played LIBERO for Belgium in the 2018 and 2019 tournaments. I didn't know she was a leftie. It makes sense that she would fill in there. Not sure what's up with Grobelna. Might be saving her until later on. I'm not even sure if she is even on this weeks roster. |

The Dutch look just fine to me. Playing scrappy. They are more physical than the Belgians which will probably win them this match unless the passing falters. That's the key. Will Buijs be able to maintain under the pressure?

General thoughts on how the match will kind of go. Belgium will have these flashes of brilliance, but Buijs and Daalderop's firepower in transition will be too much, and Belgium doesn't serve tough enough to put the two in serious, consistent passing trouble to counter. (imo)

I see what the Belgians are trying. Guillams and Van Gestel are taking turns passing in certain rotations. Herbots is passing all the time.

Finally, a set over Bongaerts' head. Dambrink puts the ball down. The Belgian block knows most of the sets are going to Buijs and Daalderop.

Battle of the Novara OH's. I'm here for it. Earlier Herbots almost took Nika's head off with a cross court spike. The interaction between them (Herbots profusely apologizing) was adorable. |
