It's gotta be tough to have retired after playing for so many years with the national team and be sitting at home relaxing or getting into a groove at work and then get called up unexpectedly. I don't expect this mashup of players for Thailand to play super well. With that said, they always play with so much joy and tenacity, despite the odds or circumstances. You can't help but pull for them!

Forgive me, I know every single other USA roster player without even thinking about it, but "SWP" escapes me. Who is that? (I did do an initial search...still nothing).

The fact they were so disappointed and crying after losing to Japan (and their chance to go to Rio) during that Olympic Qualification tournament still stings after these few years. You know they were giving it 110% and doing it with love and passion for the game. |
